Roses Aren’t Red is a series of small studies. The common thing being the rose pattern, and lots of colour as always. The style is full of energy through gestural and loose brush strokes, yet it’s got a sense of serenity through the use of horizontal lines and the formations of hills.
The painting is done on high-quality paper and comes unframed, however, it easily fits into store-bought frames.
